The “Wheel and Cross” Publishing House and Bookshop is dedicated to the dissemination (printed and digital) of the works by Anna Kingsford and Edward Maitland, as well as subjects, works and authors related and in harmony with their message.
Several of the works by Anna Kingsford and Edward Maitland were almost forgotten (and some were almost lost) by the world. However, we firmly believe that their importance was not yet duly recognized. Many of the works by those prophet souls belong to what they called the “New” Gospel of Interpretation, which is the religious part of their work, offering to the world the clearest presentation of the true (or esoteric) meaning of the Christian Scriptures, and the necessary complementarity and union of Buddhism and Christianity, which is here called Buddhist (or Esoteric) Chrisitanity.
Located at Brasília, the capital of Brazil, a city which various (hopefully prophetic) passages point as the future birth place of a new culture and society, the “Wheel and Cross” Publishing House and Bookshop works towards the preservation and dissemination of this important literature and message to the future generations. Its work is just in the beginning, and below we still have only a few books in the Portuguese language, what we hope in the next year will be changed, and new titles will be added in English language.
